Some are sensualists who work in ink or acrylic, using brushstrokes, layered colour,and textured papers and paints. Others focus on characters: gamine girls with eyes a la Twiggy; or sophisticated elegant figures who carry on the tradition of the 50s diva. Also included in the book is the work of "technocrats" - designers who work on the computer - as well as work from artists' private collections, and international fashion magazines. This work is designed to be a reference guide for media and fashion industry professionals and a textbook for students.
